okay everybody's been incessantly bugging me about how to study for o's so i figured i might as well tell it once and for all so anybody who wants to learn my trade secret can come straight here and quit bugging me.
so seeing how i am the apparent role model for last minute studying, i find it my responsibility to pass on the secrets to the juniors.
1. read textbooks. all that talk about how textbooks are not enough for your o's? rubbish. i spent half my life sitting outside the office or sleeping and the textbook got me along fine.
2. get your hands on as many past year papers as possible. and do all of them. clarify anything you don't know from the questions. you won't have time to practice every chapter of the textbooks. anyway the questions generally remain the same.
3. if time really runs out, get crash courses from the teachers. or in the case of maths, just read the few pages in front of every chapter in the tys.
4. this is seriously something you need, but i can't help you with that. you need the ability to see links between one chapter and the next, especially in chemistry. and you need the ability to manipulate formulas any way you want them. this is vital for last minute studying. there is no way you can go around looking at every question and seeing how the formula fits each case. you either have this or you don't. if you don't, good luck. start mugging your brains out.
okay if the teachers find out i've just posted my last minute work scheme on my blog, i am screwed. miss noraini thinks i am a bad example. and miss ho thinks i'm the only one who can actually pull off this crazy plan and actually scrape past my o's. but i did this in 3 weeks. you all have 4 months. if you start, it's not too late. all the best. by the way, the o's are not that bad. the teachers are lying.
